After a gap of 20 years, I have now started playing flute in my age of 43.
I am living in Trichy, Tamil Nadu (By chance I searched for "trichy flute")
Visiting Vamshidwani helped me in several ways.
1. I was under the impression that I cannot perform well in this age. After reading the web pages, I got a sharp feeling that I must pursue this and improve my skills.
2. I got very good flutes from Shri.T.A.Sivadas as per recommendations from Vamshidwani.
3. I bought a condenser microphone. Now I record the music and see that I am making lot of mistakes. I think I will be able to correct the errors within an year.
4. I have never heard of Cross fingering and using multiple flutes before I visited Vamshidwani. Shri.Saravanan has clearly explained in elegant english how we could do that. I am planning to practice them after getting tonal clarity.
